I have travelled on Safari on 7 trips 5 of which were with Solomon Machira. I can honestly state that each trip was a unique experience and this was because of the expertise that Solomon has in being able to track and find the wonderfull wildlife which Botswana has to offer. The meals when camping are first class and from a Wildlife photographers view point the experience is in excess of first class. The experience is unique to the point where I have no ambition other than to return for further trips. My many photographs are testimony to this review. Hope to see you soon Solomon. Ian.

This was my first safari, first time in Southern Africa and first time camping ever. What an experience! Solomon and his crew looked after us exceptionally well. Food was excellent, beds surprisingly comfortable and any additional requests catered for. The game drives were superb! Thanks to Solomon’s tracking skills we saw the Big5 on the first day and then things only got better, if that is possible. The scenery and and night skies are breathtakingly beautiful and the sunsets spectacular. And the tour leader is very patient, so you can take as many photographs as you want, and I have many. I felt as if I were in a David Attenborough’s film. I’ll be back!

My husband and I had the opportunity to go on a guided camping safari with Titus and his crew. They were incredibly kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. Their ability to spot the wildlife is amazing and while just seeing them is awe inspiring, the facts that Titis was able to share about the wildlife was a learning experience. Travelling as a family of four, including two teenagers aged 16 and 18, in October 2023 our decision to take a leap of faith and entrust our safari experience to Solly turned out to be a stroke of good fortune and the right decision. With no prior knowledge of Solly and his guiding expertise, we embarked on our journey through Chobe and the Okavango Delta with an outlined itinerary and an open mind.
Solly’s ability to design a bush camping experience perfectly suited our family and surpassed our expectations. He was supported at the camp by his colleagues Joseph & Eric who worked so hard to make our camping experience comfortable in hot weather.
Being native to Botswana Solly’s deep knowledge of the breathtaking landscapes of the Delta, coupled with his determination to showcase its wildlife and birdlife, made our journey truly exceptional. Solly’s passion for the region was evident in every moment of our safari.
As a guide, Solly demonstrated not only his years of prior experience and expertise but also a keen understanding of interests of our family. His unwavering commitment to providing an enriching experience for both the adults and teenagers was both commendable and exciting to witness. The journey unfolded seamlessly, revealing the beauty of the Okavango Delta in ways we had not imagined.
Being a very accomplished driver and mechanic, when we experienced a flat tyre in front of a leopard, it was quickly changed!
